What We Believe

We believe and accept the entire Bible as the inspired Word of God, the only infallible and authoritative rule of our faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3.15-17; 2 Peter 1:21; Romans 1:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13).
We believe in the one true God, Eternal, Almighty, Creator and Lord of all things and that in His unity there are three distinct persons: Father, Son, Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:6; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:21 ,22;1 John 5:7).
We believe in His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious death as the "ransom price" for all men, His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father as the only Mediator, His personal and imminent return to the redeemed and then on earth in power and glory to establish His kingdom (1 Peter 2:22; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Acts 2:22; 1 Peter 3:18; Romans 1:4; 2:24; 1 Corinthians 15:4; Acts 1:9-11; John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:25; 1 Timothy 2:5).
We believe in the existence of created angels all pure and that a part of these, fallen into irreparable corruption and perdition, by the direct action of Satan, a rebel angel, will be eternally punished with him (Matthew 25:41; Ephesians 6:11,12 ).
We believe that only repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ, the only High Priest, are indispensable for the purification from sin of anyone who accepts him as personal Savior and Lord (Romans 3:22-25; Acts 2:38; 1 Peter 1 :18,19; Ephesians 2:8).
We believe that regeneration (new birth) by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for salvation (John 3:3; 1 Peter 1:23; Titus 3:5)
We believe in divine healing, according to the Holy Scriptures, through prayer, anointing with oil, and the laying on of hands (Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:16, 17; 1 Peter 2:24; Mark 16: 17, 18; James 5:14-16)
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, as an experience subsequent to that of the new birth, which is manifested, according to the scriptures, with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues and, practically, with a life of progressive sanctification, in obedience to the whole truth of the sacred scriptures, in the power to proclaim “the whole gospel” to the world (Acts 2:4; 2:42-46; 8:12-17; 10:44-46; 11.14-16; Mark 16 :20, John 16:13; Matthew 28:19,20).
We believe in the charisms and graces of the Holy Spirit in the life of Christians which, in the exercise of the universal priesthood of believers, are manifested for the edification, exhortation and consolation of the Christian community, consequently, in human society (1 Corinthians 12 :4-11; Galatians 5:22; Hebrews 13:15; Romans 12:1).
We believe in the ministries of the glorified Lord as authoritative instruments of guidance, teaching, edification and service in the Christian community, avoiding any hierarchical form (Ephesians 1:22,23; 4:11-13; 5:23; Colossians 1:18).
We believe in the timeliness and validity of the resolutions of the Council of Jerusalem, reported in Acts chapter 15.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the condemnation of the reprobate, and the glorification of the redeemed.
We perform baptism in water by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, for those who profess their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior (Matthew 28:18,19; Acts 2:28; 8: 12).
We celebrate the Lord's Supper or Holy Supper, under the two species of bread and wine, thus commemorating the Lord's death and announcing his return, administered to anyone who has been baptized according to the rules of the Gospel and lives a worthy and holy life before to God and society (1 Corinthians 11:13; 26:29; Luke 22.19).
